Another Tiktok review, another product bought secondhand/preloved from online. Luckily some people don't vibe well with these so I bought the shampoo. Grace and Glow only has one shampoo product for now, the Secret Bombshell one.

The smell is a dupe for Victoria's Secret Bombshell perfume. I'm still currently wearing it (alongside CBD Keratin) and though I like the smell, after a while my hair still feels crusty and dry. Idk if the shampoo isnt good enough or is it just my hair. Maybe I shouldnt wear it as often.

P.s. I also bought the body wash. It says "English Pear and Freesia" so I bought it hoping it'll smell like Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia, turns out it smells like Daisy by Marc Jacobs instead. Ive heard of this once from either Instagram or Facebook, and checked their reels out. At first my sister was hesitant on buying it cuz she didnt believe it was possible to clean that fast with this thing, but my mom out if the blue said she wanted to try an instant cleaner so I immediately thought of Undo-It by Bersi.

I bought it off of Tokopedia from one of the resellers.

My dad wanted to try it out so he tried it on the yellow computer chair we've had for a year now. It's plastic, but it's got a leather seat. Shared on the family whatsapp group last year. Tried the shared (tester) version bought off of Tokopedia while im having breakouts. After a few usage some of my zits dried and disappeared but new ones still popped out, and some still persisted after a few days so maybe this tiktok review isnt all that truthful. Or maybe I needed to buy the full jar instead of the shared portion. But hey I love matcha.

Previously I've started buying preloved clothes & shoes for fun from online shopping apps after hearing about how wasteful the textile industry is. Then i got into looking for more preloved stuff like books (bo regrets) Recently I realized theres a handful of pre-used skincare, body care n makeup stuff that people buy either by mistake or out of curiosity but turned out not suitable for them, so I srarted shopping for secondhand/used skincare & make-up stuff that have been used like 5-10% n resold.

Since I follow Scarlett's Instagram account I got notified on their new releases, and just a few days later Cipadu cosmetic shop had these in stock. For now I only need the toner, and it's gotta be the acne series y'all.

Holy H U A H broskis, this toner has BALLS. yeah, these balls that give them cooling sensation on your face. It's really soothing, and idk if the brightening toner has it too but it probably is the same.

Next up is ths coffee body scrub

Got this at the Cipadu cosmetic store once I finished my Jiera lip serum. With all the Youtube reviews of other lip serum brands I was hoping I could try some others and probs try the ones with applicators.

But I found none. And this one looks just like a regular lip gloss, and I dont wear lipglosses much since middle school.

It doesnt really color my lips much other than making it glossy, which is good cuz I dont really like tinted lipglosses much.

Bought this cuz i have unsaturated lips, and this tiktok vid claimed that it can bring back the natural pink within weeks.

Here's a month after using the serum, my lips have definitely gotten pinker but not that much

Here are my lips after im more than halfway through the bottle (so i'd say 2 & a half months of usage). It's still the same amount  of pink cuz I havent been using it as regularly as before. I've also noticed only the bottom lip gets pinker as the top lip is still kinda dark.

Bought these at Watsons cuz I have a membership card, and cuz I was interested on the moisturizer, i mean, "pudding gel creme"? Sounds delicious (DISCLAIMER: pls dont eat your skincare products, kids). Since this line from Joylab heavily moisturizes your skin this might be perfect for people with dry skin. However, aint nothing wrong for someone with oily n acne-prone skin to try them out, right?

Btw there's two more products in the Moisture Bomb line, they've also got a serum & essence, but it seems like theyre sold out everywhere n i only could grab these two for now.

The toner smells like roses, like one of those cheaper drugstore toners (e.g. Viva) but if we're talking suppleness here, Viva is no match. Read More »

Again, because my mom showed us the video on Tiktok. Im pretty interested to try this shampoo out cuz besides it being a local brand, it's made from Papuan red fruit which ive never even heard or seen before so this oughtta be interesting.

Welp it wasnt what I expected. Although I do really like the smell (it smells fruity, sweet, with a hint of medicinal) i dont really like the feel of it in my hair cuz it's not uh... suds-y enough. Like, it made my fingers run through my hair harder n my hair feels rougher n stickier somehow (?) But not after rinsing it off though, my hair's back to being bouncy. After a few weeks of using this my skin got visibly clearer (not my own observation. My friend's friend mentioned it) and my breakouts got even less and less. Tbh i started having less breakouts after using NaturaWorld's beauty spray & aloe vera gel, and Somebymi's AHA-BHA-PHA series, and since Scarlett's acne series also has tea tree & BHA as well it kinda picked up from where I left off with Somebymi & ran along smoothly. Finished the book. 100% slice of life, no dialogue, no character interaction. Mostly consists of running here and there with a bit of making things. Still loved it. Auri is a cinnamon roll.

Now off to find the 2 main Kingkiller books so I know whats going on.

Last month for Kamila's birthday I ordered Mangkokku via GoFood for her family and myself. I was recommended by her n she mentioned this brand is a collaboration by Chef Arnold & Gibran. 

Aw yiss. Itadakimasu. 

The verdict: they all taste pretty good although some of my family members said some dishes couldve been done better 

Endog Curry's taste reminds me of Coco Ichibaniya's curry egg dishes (btw endog = egg in Javanese). Endog with crispy chicken skin is just as good though. 

The Ox Tongue dish is tastefully mild, but if y'all like a little more spice maybe this isnt for you. 

Starting late last year I've been using Hanasui's body lotion series (amidst using Love Beauty and Planet body lotions too, cuz not every scent comes with one). They sold these at Alfamidi specifically, since theyre not available in your regular Alfamart & Indomaret outlets somehow. Normally the price range falls around Rp 21K-27K, so they're THAT affordable, and they smell soothing too.

I started with Sydney, it smells kinda like a cologne or some sort. A lot of people including my sisters felt like it has a masculine smell, so it's more suitable for tomboys (hello👋) and men to use, but tbh I dont really see it, or in this case, smell it. Started playing this game sometime ago after I saw a friend posting herself playing it on her Instastories.

You basically take care of a bunch of cats and build a mini cat town, each cat has their own building & profession. You gotta maintain them by mini tasks like petting them, talking to them, playing rock-paper-scissors & hide and seek with them etc. To get new cats you can draw them using fish or grass. Pretty soon your small town's gonna get bigger than you expect.

Idk if this is a new addition or not, but there's other animals living in the town too, not just cats. They're their friends. You dont have to maintain them or upgrade their skills btw. Read More »

First up is this toner by CosRX, it was requested by my sister at first, cuz she said Centella Asiatica is good for oily skin. 

And my friend bought a different one by from same brand. She's got the AHA/BHA one, also good for oily and mixed skin and for exfoliating. 

Next is saffron face mists. A friend  initially recommended all of us in the office group chat about the saffron face mist she was using, and she claimed it works for your hair too. 

After searching Tokopedia i found this seemingly brandless one. 

My sister uses a different brand though, but she claims all saffron mists are pretty much the same.  Read More »

So im aboard the Scarlett train now. Theyre actually pretty good, although the body scrubs might do with replacing what looks like plastic microbeads with a more natural ingredient.

But holy scrinch, do the lotions smell amazing. So far i'm loving the purple n green ones i bought, im not sure what Fantasia smells like but Charming, as everyone claims, smells like the Baccarat perfume that's known to be quite pricey. So smelling like you own the perfume but at an affordable price is a good deal. 

Moving on to the body scrubs. The pomegranate one smells fruity just as expected, but the cucumber one smells a bit uh... Plasticy. I sorta expected a refreshing smell but they still gotta work on that I guess. Also it'll be better if they replace the microbeads with a more organic material. Like the ones Original Source used.
