Different spirits and beings* have their own agendas when it comes to interacting with those currently human. Sometimes these designs involve nonconsensual control in myriad degrees. Possession, intrusive thoughts, energy drainage: these are some of the ways this might be noticed. But it can be much more subtle and can affect even those who don't believe they interact with the spirit world. I posted a new demo on Bandcamp, “Three of Swords Reversed.” This one is crafted as a hexbreaker of sorts, unraveling and healing trauma from this and past lives.

When channeling songs, we look for sounds that can activate and effect change. Dance rhythms serve as a carrier for energies. These are all ingredients that go into the mix. Ritual sounds, song, and dance have been used since ancient times to connect with the Divine and induce ecstatic trance and catharsis. That is still possible today, using the same principles mapped onto our modern music tools.
